The art of showing yourself ON and OFF.

The art of showing yourself ON and OFF.

ON | OFF is a textile-based conceptual work about communication, encounters, and the choice of when we want to be open to other people.

​

ON stands for encounter, dialogue, and connection. OFF stands for retreat, calm, and consciously switching off. The words are applied to clothing and bags: ON on the front, OFF on the back. In this way, the message moves through space with the people wearing it.

 

The textile works make communication visible and can themselves become a starting point for encounters. They attract attention, trigger reactions and conversations, and carry the artistic idea from the exhibition space into everyday life.

ON | OFF was first presented at Salon Reiter in May 2026.
